Fantastic watch. I already have an Eco-drive watch and was a little apprehensive about getting this but I'm so glad I did. It looks great and the features are impressive. The perpetual calendar is great but the best part is the AT. When I put it away for days (due to wearing other watches) I pull the crown out to save battery. When I push the crown in, the watch automatically sets itself to the correct time, every time. Well worth the money for the looks alone but add in the fact you just need to set it up once then never have to adjust it again then that's all you can ask for and need.

the watch is excellent and awesome. the only thing is that when I receive the watch, it is moving and fully charged. since it is a solar power watch, if this watch is stored in the box, it should not be like this. however, it works properly so far, so I would choose to keep it.

Actually, several days before, I bought another radio controlled one from Amazon, citizen AT4000-02E. However, it can only receive signs from the US and Germany, which means i cannot use it in other cities especially in Asia, so i had to return it. Then I tried to find another fancy watch until I found this watch on Watchshop website.

Here are some reasons why I choose it.
1 Awesome design and look. I do have a fancy for watches with leather straps, they looks really elegant. It is really beautifully designed, the black background with red hands, which looks really cool.
2 Eco-Drive. this watch relies on solar power, which means you do not have change the battery. the only thing you need to do is put it under sunlight or even led light, and it will get charged.
3 Radio-Controlled. if you own this watch instead of an automatic one, you no longer need to keep eyes on your cellphone and fix the time every day. this is the most important reason why i choose it. it can receive radio signs from the US, Germany, China and japan, which means wherever you go in this planet, you do not have to worry about adjusting it.
4 Time Keeping. i always use this function to estimate how much time the bus will take from my living place to my university. watching the hand moving is of great fun.
5 Lowest Price. I checked prices from several websites, with extra 10% discount, the price on Watchshop is the most reasonable one.

Unfortunately, I have not found any cons of this watch. the only thing I do not understand is the scale in outermost circle. I cannot find any explanation about how to use it, not even in the handbook, which makes me a little bit confused, though it will not cause any adverse impact.

A great watch. Was slightly worried with the photo thought it would be bulky and heavy upon the wrist but how wrong I was looks great and feels good.

Bought this watch as an everyday watch. wanted a reliable quartz watch so i opted for this one, instead of a seiko prospex chronograph, simply because of the red arrows theme.
Pro: - looks and feels a lot better then in the pictures, at 43 mm diameter and 12 mm thick, its perfect for my wrist 43 is the maximum size I wear
- love the atomic timekeeping features perpetual calendar, self tuning every night to be very accurate, etc
- excellent build, the sapphire glass was another big reason that made me buy it
- Eco Drive!!!! never have to replace the battery!!!
Cons: - while the Red Arrows theme is very nice, the red color accents arent very legible over the black dial, making it difficult to read the red writing on the moving bezel markings that help you calculate how much fuel you have left, or something, the letter S for sundayand the other red markers on the bottom dial. IT DOES NOT affect time reading, just a few small thing written in red. there is another version of this watch with a blue angels theme. and has yellow accents over a blue dial, and that one its a lot better to read, but also the price is about 200 extra!!
- didnt like the leather strap, i found it to be a bit rigid, so i changed it with a black nato strap, and now it fits perfect on my wrist. youll need a 23 mm wide strap, in case youre looking to replace the strap.

Nice watch, looks good, easy to use and comfortable to wear. My wrist size can change with temperature and a leather strap is easier to adjust.

Bought this watch for my husbands birthday, he is over the moon! He loves the clear face and easy operation with the variety of facilities. He said its is super to have a watch that shows the date and day which is radio operated. With no battery to ever change, as it charges itself with any light source and even shows the power level just in case you get concerned. As the watch is sealed and needing to broken to change a battery, so nothing can contaminate the mechanism. He also loves that it automatically changes time, spring/autumn, it also has an indicator to reassure that all is correct. Another feature is at a touch of 2 buttons you can change country area, which makes life easy for changing time for our travels. Besides its features it looks great, with the super smart leather strap with nice padding inside and a smooth buckle, and with the narrow red band around the outside of the case which makes it look a little different whilst looking classy. Delighted with this watch and how happy it has made my husband!

Great watch but did not arrive in the presentation case shown, very disappointed with that. Customer service said that you don't always get what they advertise. so watch out if you are attracted by the extras shown on Internet. good watch and good price just a little upset that we did not get all the things that it looks like you do. maybe somewhere in the small print it tells you that but I never saw it

Watch looks great, nice and weighty which makes it feel quality. It finishes off any outfit perfectly.
Its fits well, and the strap doesnt run at all.

Best watch I have owned!

A Christmas present so not used yet. Packaging fine and watch looks great. However the stud at 8pm does not feature in instruction manual which is for a chronograph but not this model.

Being a former member of the RAF, there was a tinge of sentimentality in buying this watch. It is, however, a beautiful timepiece in its own right and regardless of my background it is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I was concerned that the watch face may be on the large size and be too intrusive, however this wasnt the case and is comparable to most other Citizen eco-drive watches Ive had previously. The feature set is incredibly complex to a layman, I havent fully got to grips with the entire range of features - although there is a particularly detailed manual to help you through the challenge.

Highly recommended as both a timepiece and a piece of wrist-art.

Fantastic looking timepiece. The red on the strap is brighter than I thought it would be, but the face is a decent size and is able to worn both formally and casually. The detail on the back of the watch case is excellent too. Overall, a very good watch which I am delighted with.

I chose the Red Arrows AT8060-09E for its looks and value for money, with its black background highlighting the silver rim dials, red hands and touches, the red highlights continue with a line around the buttons, making them stand out. The strap again is black with the red stitching and dots through the leather strap, which at first is a little stiff, but soon wears in and feels very comfy. The Red Arrows logo on the back is a nice touch.\r\nThe Eco-Drive is excellent this is my second watch with Eco-Drive running on light, so no winding, or battery.\r\nThe watch features, Chronograph, stop watch is ideal for my love of love motorsport. perpetual calendar is great as well, no messing about with having to change the date on a less than 31 day month and allows for leap years.\r\nAs I travel a bit, the World Time is perfect for me, once set up the watch adjusts to the local time wherever you are in the world.\r\nOverall I love this watch, for its value for money, features, and looks and would recommend it to people who like a well made, quality time piece.

The Red Arrows AT8060-09E watch, is a superb, stylish looking watch, complimented by the red touches on the buttons, dials and hands, the unique red Arrows logo on the back is a nice touch. With a quality leather black and red strap, its comfortable to wear after the strap has worn in a bit, at first its a bit stiff, after a few days you can hardly tell your wearing it.
It is simple to set up, once done will not be needed to be done again, with the superb radio controlled auto time, and calendar adjustment. Also the easy to use world Time and calendar makes worrying about local times when travveling a thing of the past.
The perpetual calendar, once set up, stops you having to fiddle about at leap years and 28 and 30 day months.
For the sporty people the Chronograph allows easy timing of events with its one button use, and water resistant to 10/20 bar means you dont have to take it off to go for a swim.
I have two watches from Citizen, both have the eco-Drive system, using daylight and artificial light to store power into the battery, so it should never stop. I would never buy a watch without it,
The watch face is large enough without being overbearing, with a black background, red hands and silver markings makes it look really nice.
I would recommend this watch to my friends and family.

I bought this for my boyfriends birthday and he is over the moon with it. Stylish with lots of gadgets. Delivery was prompt and it came in a lovely box. I opted for the gift wrap and it was really neatly done. I would be nice if you could maybe offer a choice of colours of paper or ribbon just to personalise it a bit better.

After spending much time searching for a new watch I was recommended to buy a Citizen. I had a £500 budget and this watch was well in the range. I went for this one as the style suits my character. I love adventure sports so a well built time piece is essential. I love the fact I never have to buy another battery again and the time and date sets itself, just brilliant. Added to that it will automatically set to world time zones at a turn of the crown. Ive had the watch a few weeks now and the time is spot on with other radio controlled clocks in my house. Several people have commented on such a nice looking watch. I was impressed with the 5 year warranty as standard plus an extra year if you register online. I feel this watch will give me years of service. Would recommend to anyone. Good price, loads of features, good looking and accurate.

Great watch with amazing functions, ive only had it a couple of weeks but so far it works a treat. im a bit of a gadget lover so the functions on the watch are what best impresses me, stop watch, international time zone, automatic calibration of the time and solar power all make this watch an all rounder. You can even do math solving with the watch which is an added bonus.

As for design well for me it is very stylish and can be used in all occasions.

Best watch Ive ever owned. Stylish, functional and aesthetically very pleasing. My only recommendation for improvement would be that it was fitted with a backlight feature to enable it to be read more easily and accurately in the dark.

Usually buy a metal bracelet type watch however after reading previous reviews decided to go for different look the watch looks sophisticated yet easy to use very nice features and the red and black leather strap really sets the watch off.
The only thing I found was the strap size mine fits on the last but one hole and after wearing for the first time found the leather becomes a little supple making wearing more comfortable as the last hole is too loose some womens jewellery bracelets are offered in two sizes to accommodate this perhaps Citizen should think of this a standard and larger strap as we all have different wrist measurements apart from that if you want a excellent brand watch and first class service then look no further cant recommend enough and would use again.
