Bought this watch last week as a replacement for an accurist which decided to throw its crown wheel. Ive owned a similar Casio before, this watch is also well made, accurate and unassuming, perfect for work at this price. I prefer slim watches as I dont want to feel like Ive got a birch on my wrist, if you choose this you wont be disappointed.

This is the third Casio Alarm Chronograph I have owned (over many years).. From that, it is obvious that I like the item very much; but I have concerns about the length of its useful working life. However, taking into account the cost of the watch, I believe that it represents good value.

What can I say. Ive had this model of watch for more years than I can remember. I even replaced the battery myself that last time this was needed. I appreciate this is not supported by the manufacturer, as the water seal will likely be compromised. But then its rarely that mine gets exposed to water. This old purchase eventually started to give out the mode and adjustment buttons on the left side having failed.. The clincher to replace the watch was that of losing it. It did turn up a week later after I had purchased the exact same model as a replacement. Why purchase the same mode? 1. Its such an inexpensive watch. 2. Its elegant in design. 3. I like the analogue figured faces, easy to read. 3. it show the date and day of the week. Same the latter is in American date format, month, day. Also disappointing that it does not take account of leap year, but then that means only every 4 year it will need a manual adjustment. I searched high and low on the internet and could not find a model that compare with it on price, design and function. And the deliver was made in a matter of a few day.

This is the 4th watch like this I've had in about 30 years. I think it still looks great and has all the features I want in a watch while being great value.

Ive had 2 of these watches previously and like them very much. Timekeeping is good. The analogue face and the digital display are very clear. Plus you get an alarm clock and stopwatch into the bargain.

Nice wrist watch. Not flashy, fairly smart, and does its job. Dual time useful for our trips, date display extremely convenient, adjustments fiddly. Setting the analogue display could be tricky as hands whizz round and it is easy to miss the exact actual time. If it is missed then the adjustment button has to be held in whilst the watch runs through twelve hours, annoying. Standard delivery time suprisingly fast.

I need a watch that gives me an accurate digital display to the second for adjusting the time keeping of and old church clock but prefer to analogue display for instant time recognition and this watch is perfect and very reasonably priced

I am a huge fan of casio, had some sort of casio watch since the age of 16. I bought this watch in gold this time last year and thought I would buy it in silver just to give me a bit more of a choice. This watch is under the mens category however I would definitely say that it is unisex because you have an adjustable clasp that can be made near enough any size you like, which means that anybody with any size wrist can wear it. The silver looks really smart on and looks like an expensive and well made watch. Not chunky or heavy watch, almost feels like youre not wearing one at all. The price was more than reasonable for what you get. I am more than happy with this watch and would buy it over and over again if I had to! Thank-you Watch Shop!

This must be the seventh or eighth time I have purchased this exact Casio watch. it is not that there is a problem with them that I have to replace them but purely the wear and tear I put them through. I think they are the perfect watch. Not flashy, not expensive, but has all the features I want,alarm, stop watch, dual time and analogue display.

This review is regarding a order that i place was a mens gucci watch order id: 3045524 and when i recieved the order i found that it was seem to be used or returned by a customer which i had recieved as there was no stickers or shrink wrap on the watch so i called in and reported the matter to a employee called mariam she advised me to send it back or pop in to goldsmiths where i usually shop because of work i could not do this as dont have much time during lunch my closest one is canary wharf and its quite busy at lunchtimes and so i told my wife to send it back for me through the post office as the Watchshop collegue advised me to doand put a note aswell . Now upon receiving the watch at watchshop they say there is one scratch due to that i get no refund or replacement but that is why i called in to report the matter as soon as i got the chance to tell them this matters that the watch deos not seem new seems some sort used.and then when they had received the item back the collegue at Watchshop tells me there is one scratch and they wont replace or refund the item i dont mind getting a new one aslong as it is new which i had paid for. I was utterly dissapointed with the service and the fact that i followed all the procedure and report the problem now they say the scratch is my responsibility and at the time i didnt even look for any scratches or report any as i got annoyed that it seemed like a returned watch from another customer . I usually buy watches from goldsmiths as i was busy with work i placed a order that i would later regret. I will be going to goldsmiths from now on where i usually buy all my watches and have learnt my lesson never again. Many thanks for listening.

I bought one of these watches 35years ago when they first come out, and I absolutely loved it. I used the stopwatch function almost daily and loved the timeless looks. I was staggered today to find this still available, so I have just bought it. The bracelet catch on my last one broke after many years, but I repaired it with a new redesign of the catch. Im an inventor. Some years after that the buttons ceased to work properly. On taking it apart I found the internal button cavities were solid with very fine dust which restricted movement of the buttons. Did a nice clean up job, but then lost a tiny part, so that was its final demise, and I was gutted! So pleased to have found this again, and its current price is way less than half of what i paid in 1980!

Bought the black one for my partner, after the purchase I got a £5 voucher discount to my email for a future purchase so I then decided to buy the white one for myself even though its a mens watch. Watch was delivered next day and the watch looks lovely on me as a woman m, its a small watch that suits both women and men and VERY elegant, classic and modern! I highly recommend Watchshop!!

A nice, compact and light watch

The watch is very cheap to buy but does exactly what I want it to do. There was one negative surprise that I found which is that there is not the usual pull out bit to adjust the analogue clock. Instead you have to push the bit in and the hour hand will automatically start to move forward to your desired time. You cannot adjust the analogue clock backward so when moving back from summer time to GMT, you have to advance the clock 12hours and be very careful to stop it at the exact new time otherwise you will have to start all over again. What I did like though was that it has two digital hour displays so if you go to a different time zone you can you have the local time zone and the time zone back home. For the price, I think this is very good value and it looks very simple but very smart with a nice metal wrist band.

I cannot expect anything more for such a very cheap watch. It is what I expected it to be.

Extremely stylish and light weight. Features analogue and digital times which are easy to adjust. The face is clear to read and the strap is strong and fits any size wrist as it has an easy to adjust clip.My son had one of these watches a few years ago and was so pleased with it he wanted the replacement to be identical. Lovely slim mens watch perfect for work and going out. Have purchased both the white and black face. Lovely furans very easy to adjust to size yourself. Alarm feature very useful.

I facilitate workshops for a living so a watch is vital. What I love most about this watch is both the analogue and digital - it looks classy but I can still use a stopwatch in some of the sessions. Just great multipurpose and so affordable. Id happily buy one in another colour to match different outfits.

Excellent watch. This is the third time I have bought this type of watch. They probably last on average 6-8 years. Sometimes it becomes hard to change time in which case watch needs either replacing or cleaning. This time the strap broke after being dropped. At £23 each no problem in replacing after 6-8 years!!

I bought this as a gift for my husband...he was very pleased and has worn the watch since his birthday...he also stated that it has kept good time...

We have had one previously so hope this one lasts as long..it was a present and hopefully they will like it.

This Casio watch is a good all rounder. Smart enough to wear on an evening out and has it isnt too expensive , ideal for every day wear. The digital display can be left on the Day Date setting as I do. I have at a glance time and date and no one can accuse you of not knowing what day it is! A quick read of the instructions and setting up is easy.Probably will not use the Alarm or Stop Watch functions , they are there if you need them. Very happy with this watch.

Ive had several of these watches over the years I have slim wrists and appreciate that this Casio watch doesnt have large buttons which would dig into my flesh. The watch looks smart, though I always immediately change the stainless steel strap for a leather one. I dont have any use for the 2nd time zone setting so I find that a nuisance.

I bought the watch also because I like having the alarm function. If you are looking for the same feature beware though because after a year or two the alarm function always stops working which is really infuriating as the timepiece itself goes on for years. The sound of the alarm on this latest Casio doesnt seem as strong as my previous couple.

WATCHSHOP IS EXCELLENT! But this Casio model with white face&silver colour is very good only for my teenage son, for using in ligt time! It is very nice, wery compact, wery functionaly, with very good price, but it is little for men!for me- I took it for myself, but it is too small for me, and digital part is very, very small for me and my old eyes! It is more boy`s & womans size, not for biger and older men! Some other brand models have surfaces, that can be read-able in dark time also! If Casio in future will create bigger ~15-20% model with lumibrite surface`s, whitewith accurate-1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 on face- it will be my best Casio!

I needed a second cheap and reliable watch for everyday use especially as I am a do-it-yourself addict. It also has an alarm facility which is very useful. It looks good, despite the price, and has a stainless steel strap which means it should last for a very long time.

Analogue & digital time / alarm / date / stopwatch / dual time / + chime on hour if you want - so great when travelling. Light weight and quite small. Stainless strap good - but the main body is only chrome over resin, so eventually gets a bit tired looking + the perspex face scratches. Also no back-light. Having said that this is a exact replacement for one which cost a lot more years ago ! Recommend.

Lovely watch. Ordered for my womanly self and it looks good on my small wrists. Very easy to adjust and easy to configure the analog and digital times. A neutral watch that can be worn with anything.
The only slightly negative thing I can say about it is that you have to be careful with the watch face as it is resin and can be fairly easily scratched. Not a watch to endure rough handling but an excellent everyday watch with retro style.
I also have this style with the black face, its that good.

It is exactly the same as its predecessor, which I bought over 20 years ago. That kept perfect time for years, which is what I require of a watch.

The watch works very well, its light weight and the calendar is easy to set. The only problem is the analogue clock is hard to set as you can only move the hands forward not backwards.

Absolutely brilliant, everything that I need in a watch and extremely stylish. Is advertised as a mans watch however its not big at all, I have extremely tiny wrists and it doesnt swap them, the clasps are adjustable too so you can find just the right fit. All the features are great, however the date is shown in an American format month then day and to change the analogue time is quite a fuss but over all fantastic.

I looked at several watches similar to this one but all of them did not look as good. The strap is of good quality and long enough for a larger wrists. The face is easy to see. The buttons are a bit on the small side for some. But it is ideal for me.

Unfortunately the analogue part of the first watch was faulty. However this was speedily replaced by another watch which runs perfectly.

Both I and my boyfriend have Casio watches, love the fact they can be unisex and can adjust the watch strap easily to fit my small wrists.

This is the third time I have purchased this style of watch in the past ten years so I knew exactly what I wanted.

Ive already owned one of these watches which recently gave up the ghost after 20+ years of excellent and accurate service. During that time I only had to replace the battery twice. So I was delighted to see that this model was still available and look forward to another 20 years of quartz controlled accuracy. It is also very neat in size which I prefer rather than these huge ones that seem to be fashionable nowadays. Extremely pleased with it, in particular with the perpetual calendar. Fantastic!

After 20 years excellent service , the time came to buy a new watch. There was little hesitation in choosing the right model - the same as that purchased around 1993 - this one! A watch that is easily read, attractive without being ostentatious, gives the time accurate both as a clockface and in digital form, has an extra separate digital time setting, a date setting, a stopwatch and an alarm new from my previous model - all for under £20 - what else? Incidentally this model little changed has been around from the mid-1970s - need I say more!

Excellent watch. Looks good on a smaller wrist as opposed some of the larger ugly ones of today. This is my second one, the other has a black face so I had a white one for a change. All features extremely good. Stop watch, Dual time, Date and Alarm very good. Alarm especially good.

I am very pleased with this watch. It looks simple but it has many features. The strap is easily adjustable and the watch is easy to read. The only thing that could be added is perhaps a light as it is sometimes hard to read it in the dark but over all it is a very good watch.

My husband has just broken his Casio watch after quite a number of years of excellent service. He wanted another , identical model as the other had been so good. It is not only reliable but looks good as well. Simple uncluttered lines and excellent time keeping. Hope this one is as good!

Its a lot slimmer and lighter than expected. The face is very clear and its very easy to set the alarm. The bracelet strap is quite short - it fits my 12 year old well but I doubt it would fit a mans large wrist. Overall it looks like it costs more than pricetag. A good buy.

I am very pleased with my watch. I needed something to remind me to take my medication as it is a twenty four hour dose and I kept forgetting. Now my watch tells me and I dontforget anymore

I am very happy with my Casio watch. Since I travel a lot I can set the time to different time zones and I also use the alarm most of the time. It is easy to use and read. The only thing that annoys me is the date. It is set the American way, with the month first, followed by the day. I would prefer it the other way round.

I am very happy with my new watch it has lots of functions I was not expecting and it is very easy to operate. The style is slick and quite retro which I like. No negatives on this watch.

the watch is exactly as it says in the description, if there is a fault, it looks a little small on the wrist.
